A little history
The domain is located in the old stables of the Château de Bernoville, these were built at the same time as the Château at the beginning of the 18th century by the Marquis de Puységur, Jacques-François Maxime de Chastenet.
Born August 13, 1655 and died August 15, 1743, he was elevated to the dignity of Marshal of France by Louis XV
in 1734.
It was in 1715 at the end of his life that Jacques undertook the construction of the castle which would not be completed before 1743. At his death, his son lost interest in Bernoville and sold it in 1746. The new owner Daniel Camp-Laurent, ordinary commissioner of wars, will enlarge the stables in 1748
and will highlight the castle and its outbuildings.
